Question:
Set up a DLNA network with your BRAVIA TV.
Answer:
Setting up a network with your DLNA certified BRAVIA TV at the centre makes perfect sense. You can use it to access and enjoy movies, games, photos or songs from other DLNA compatible devices around the home – all enjoyed in incredible detail on a big screen, and all controlled from your TV remote. Look out for the DLNA logo or sticker to check your BRAVIA TV is compatible.

Things you’ll need
a DLNA certified device to play content (e.g. your BRAVIA TV)
a DLNA certified server that stores content (e.g VAIO laptop, etc)
Router (you’ll probably have one already if your home has an Internet connection) either Ethernet cables or a wireless bridge.
For more information on how to connect your network with cables or wireless, click here for the DLNA Network Guide. If you are using wireless and want to play HD video we recommend you have at least an 802.11n connection. Your Broadband speed is not important as your DLNA network uses the Router as a hub rather than using your actual Internet connection.
