BeagleWorm virus

Recently, there is a new type of virus called W32.Beagle Worm widely spreading.
These are mass-mailer worms that also spread through file-sharing networks. The e-mail will have a variable subject and attachment name. The attachment will consists of a .com, .cpl, .exe, or .scr file extension. This worm also uses its own SMTP engine to send e-mail messages to any addresses found.

System Affected: Windows® 2000, Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® Me, Windows® NT, Windows® Server 2003, Windows® XP
Sony recommends all VAIO users having the virus definitions of the Anti-Virus program installed on the VAIO computer to be updated to the latest virus definitions.
