Enjoy a level of creative freedom unimaginable with the use of interchangeable lenses. Featuring Exmor™ APS HD CMOS sensor that let you record beautiful 1920 x 1080 Full HD video with high-quality audio and with dramatic background defocusing effects.
The NEX-VG10 features an Exmor™ APS HD CMOS sensor that is approximately 19.5 times larger than the sensors used in conventional camcorders. As a result, it can capture dramatic background defocusing effects that smaller sensors simply cannot. And you can use depth of field as means of creative expression to focus the audience's attention on different subjects at will.
14.2-megapixel high-resolution photos
The NEX-VG10 lets you switch from videography to photography at a moment's notice, capturing 16:9 or 3:2 format still photos with image quality that rivals that of many high-end digital SLR cameras. Whether you want to shoot Full HD movies or SLR-class still photos, this camera has you covered.
