Clear Colour NR
Clear Colour NR reduces noise in the co lour signed, which is useful when the subject includes areas o similar colour, such as blue-sky backgrounds. In addition, it is effective in capturing more images by reducing luminance noise without destroying resolution data.
Clip Motion
The clip Motion function lets you automatically create GIF animation files instantly. Simply switch to Clip Motion in the menu, and snap up to 10 frames you want animated. You’ll be surprised with how much fun you’ll have creating your own video masterpieces.
Continuous Auto Focus
This feature allows users to ge the correct focus using the shutter button. Normally, pushing the shutter button half-way down will "lock" the focus of the image but with the Cyber-shot camera on this mode, it keeps focusing until it reaches the correct level of sharpness
E-Mail
This stands for electronic mail. It is a service provided over the Internet that allows you to send information to another person or list of people.
High Sensitivity ISO 1000
With High Sensitivity of up to ISO1000*, the digital still camera offers enhanced sharpness and clarity when capturing subjects at high shutter speeds, or under low lighting conditions.
Histogram Indicator
The histogram indicator shows the luminance distribution of the image before it is captured. Displayed with the live image on the LCD screen, the histogram allows the subject brightness to be evaluated and adjusted (if necessary), so as to optimise the camera’s exposure control.

Flexible Exposure control is provided with Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual Exposure modes. Program Shift lets you select aperture/shutter speed combinations for direct control of motion and depth of field, while still in Program AE mode.
Ultra-small and ultra-thin, Memory Stick makes storing and transferring your image easy. Available in various capacities. Memory Stick represents an inexpensive memory storage solution for recording and transferring digital data.
MPEG Movie
The MPEG Movie (no audio) mode takes continuous video of up to 15 seconds on your Memory Stick (a 128MB Memory Stick allows 90 minutes recording time). Its MPEG format makes easy downloading for e-mailing.
MPEG Movie VX
Allows you to capture video and audio clips. It provides 640 x 480 image resolution and good sound quality that can be viewed either on your PC or TV.
Captures 16 continuous images at selectable shutter interval time - handy for reviewing your golf swing or any sports activities.
NR Slow Shutter
Use the NR Slow Shutter to easily capture beautiful night scenes. The Twilight Portrait Automatically slows down the shutter speed and turns on the flash. The result is a natural colour image that enhances the illumination of the lighted potion of your image.
PictBridge
Print without a PC! Simply connect the printer to a PictBridge-enabled digital camera or camcorder via a USB cable. Use the camera's LCD display to select the images and input them onto the printer’s control panel and start printing.
Picture Effects
Unique pictures are easy to achieve by applying the Picture Effects filters, four different effects are available.

SteadyShot
Takes out minor picture jitter/shake. Optical SteadyShot uses a lens system, while electronic SteadyShot uses a larger CCD for increased image area and less shake.
Super NightShot
A built-in, infrared system that lets you capture video in monochrome recording from up to 10 feet away even in total darkness (0 lux). Super NightShot also allows you to employ one of two Slow Shutter speeds to increase picture brightness, contrast and quality.
Super SteadyShot
Super SteadyShot incorporates Sony's Optical Image Stabiliser technology, using built-in Gyro sensors to effectively eliminate image blurriness caused by camera or hand movements. You can now shoot sharp images even while on the move.
