Company Outline
In January 1996 Sony South Africa (Pty) Limited was incorporated as a joint venture between Sony Corporation and Malbak Ltd. In March 1997 Sony Corporation acquired Malbak’s share, and Sony South Africa became a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation.
The main roles and responsibilities of Sony South Africa are:

  2. To provide services that are of benefit to consumers
  3. To succeed in strengthening the corporate base of the Sony group
